A Pac-Man bot based on Grammatical Evolution (2017)
Had the chance to publish this paper in CoSECiVi 2017
, as a way to spread the results and knowledge obtained in my undergraduate thesis.
The work is about Artificial Intelligence algorithms and how can they be applied to solve different objectives in video games (using Pac-Man as an example). Although we tried many different approaches, the final work is heavily oriented towards Grammatical Evolution, a variation of Evolutive Programming, with various upgrades to the mainstream algorithm.
